Don't you have your BOS Stimulus Booklet? I think the allergorical text in there (forgot the name) should relate well in a way..

I used "Rhapsody on a Windy Night" by T. S. Eliot, which is a really good example of physical settings being metaphoric representations of a psychological or "inner" journey. But if you want a more contemporary example I was also going to use "Little Miss Sunshine", but hey, English is the easiest bullshitting subject in existence (bar society and culture!) so you can link pretty much any text you like to it!
