Picking up History Extension for 10 units? (1 Viewer)

I currently have 13 units in year 11. I've been wanting to drop 4 units (Chemistry, Engineering) in year 12 and hope to pick up History Extension as my 10th Unit. How will this work and is it possible. Will I be able to drop both subjects immediately once I'm enrolled into H.Extension or will I have to wait until Term 2?
