Do you believe that body modification is beauty enhancing? Sometimes. Earrings and belly rings look hot. And tramp stamps are hot too.

Why do you think people are opposed to tattoos, piercings etc? Associated with the lower class/less refined sections of society.

Do you consider piercings and tattoos as a form of rebellion? Sometimes. Especially when teens get outrageous ones at very young ages.

Define 'beautiful' in your own words: When somone or something is really pretty, and nice to look at

Name two conventionally beautiful celebrities: Angelina Jolie, Jenifer Hawkins

What features attract you to these individuals? I actually don't find either of them particularly beautiful - I tend to disagree with most of the conventional beauty ideas. It tends to be too plastic-y and fake for me to find it appealing. But Angelina did look good when she had that pregnant woman aura recently.

What are your thoughts on breast implants and solarium tanning? I don't really see the point in implants, cause big breasts are kinda annoying. And I think it's really sad that some people feel the need to get them to make themselves feel beautiful/womanly/whole etc. Solarium tanning I'm not a big fan of because it damages your skin, but fake tanning, I've got no opposition to - I have incredibly white skin, and understand the appeal of it (although, the cheap stuff that makes you go orange, not so much). Pale skin can make you look really washed out and kind of sickly, so a tan isn't always such a bad thing.

Do you have any piercings? If so, then where? Yeah, one in each ear.

Would you consider getting more? I might get another one in each ear lobe. I really like earrings, and I don't get to wear most of mine anywhere near enough.

What do you consider EXTREME body modification? Anything that requires surgery.

Do you believe that body modification is beauty enhancing? Depends - technically, things like waxing a monobrow are body modification, and tend to be beauty enhancing. But for most of the part, no.

Why do you think people are opposed to tattoos, piercings etc? Because they associate tattoos and piercings with groups of people they don't like, like bikers and punks.

Do you consider piercings and tattoos as a form of rebellion? That depends. If you've been explicitly told by your parents that you can't have a piercing/tattoo, and go and get one anyway, then yeah. But your average 10 year old girl's ear piercings aren't exactly rebelious.

That's a little creepy. No way I'd ever do that

Also creepy. And gross looking.

Do you consider these types of 'looks' as beautiful? No. Especially the second one. I don't know why you'd go through that pain to end up with a big, fugly scar.

Do you accept body modifcation as a form of self expression? Yeah. There are smarter, less permanent ways of doing it that you're not as likely to regret, though.
