I just heard this rumor that this year or last year is going to be the last year for teaching at newcastle then theyre going to make all the teaching course at ourimbah cos they have better facilities for childcare and teaching there I'll be SO pissed off if that happens

But ourimbah has two huge buldings just for teaching, so maybe there is some truth in it

cos I don't know if I could change to the ourimbah campus cos I would be in my 2nd or 3rd year when and if that actually happened and they would be teaching the 1st year, if that makes any sense. Maybe its not true though

i sympathise with your anger at the moment (im peed off at a particular member of uni staff...but thats posted everywhere else)

could you defer and work for a year or something to save up some money and then start down there once they'd caught up or something?

i doubt it though,,, they might be expanding the coast campus coz the teachin courses are so popular on the coast but i cant see them trying to make everyone from newcastle in teaching (and thats a damn huge amount) travel to the coast for teaching. theyd have to build another two car parks just for the teaching students!

teaching will still be at newy... it will just probbably be scaled down for the new incoming 1st years...

but if you were offered and accepted a course at callaghan campus then they arent allowed to make you travel to ourimbah

but I will be so pissed off if my course starts running at ourimbah. It will be wrong and evil!!! When I will have to travel for 2 hours a day when I could have just been born a few years later and driveen for like 5 mins to get to uni!
