my best advice would be to memorise things on the syllabus. Before i answer an eextended response I write down things relevant to the question that i remember writing in my notes that was on the syllabus. Eg. you're asked on inflation, so you remember to talk about effects of inflation, types of inflation, recent inflation stats, measurement of inflation etc.
