the revenger's tragedy by thomas middleton (debately by cyril tourner, but probably not). It was written on the back of the shakespeare era and is a total pisstale on the tragedies of the time - so much backstabbing, murder, betrayal, sex, too funny.

the importance of being earnest is pretty funny too.

i also liked pygmalion by george bernard shaw, but i hated how they changed it into my fair lady... she sooooo shouldn't have ended up with him.

i haven't read many plays lately, definately not ones written recently, so i hope it helps

tom stoppard is funny
a streetcar named desire (williams - i've heard he's all good, but i've only read this)
and arthur miller, esp. death of a salesman
