I have done the following question so many times and i always end up with an impossibly small answer, i am guessing i am doing the question wrong. If anyone could help me with this question it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Find the area under the curve y= sin (2x-6) between x=3 and x=4.

Your very small answer does makes some sense. This is simply because if you substitute the limits, x=3 and x=4 into y=sin(2x-6), you get zero and a small decimal, which suggests that your area between those two bounds should be small.
