hey all ... so I got my 1st pref (syd 85.05) - but only a week ago I decided I want my 2nd pref (uts 79.5) ... i got a uai of 84.05 but I didn't get offered uts ... what do I do ???

i'm confused your uai was 84.05, but you were accepted into a course with a cut-off of 85.05?

nah it's right - I got 84.05 - and B computer science and technology at sydney is/was 85.05 ...

btw I found out that I have to accept the sydney offer and change preferences and then wait for the late round ... but you have to accept syndey offers in person (not online) ... so should I change my preferences now, or afta acceping the offer ??

accept the current offer........change ur prefs and then wait and see if u get wat u want in the later round........good luck......

Nothing really. You had heaps of time to decie what course you want to do. You only get one offer. You can see if there are any vaccancies (go the UAC website and have a look at the cutoofs) and you can try for the late round, but you may end up loosing a place altogether.

If you try for the late round, you DO NOT, lose your offer in the main round if u have accepted it already.

I need help too I did the same thing
I got a $1000 scholarship at my 2nd pref

I emailed UAC in desperation, I don't think it will do anything though.

Make sure you accept your main round offer, as if you don't get an offer in the late round, then at least you have a place in A course.
