Hi, there's a way of doing this without actually expanding it, I just can't remember how. Can anyone please help me?

USE THESE AND MANIPULATE:
Sum of roots: a+b+c =2
Product of roots: abc = 1/2
Sum of roots (twice) ab+ac+bc =3/2
NOTE: (use simultaneous equations)

Thanks, I remembered now.

b+c = 2-a
c+a = 2-b
etc... thanks :D

btw @ kaz1-
using this way, you don't have to bother expanding, and it's much easier.

Yeayh no worries but is this 4unit. Does it have complex numbers that polynomial?
