solve the equation:



this is what i did:

.: excluding x=1
x = cis 2kpi/5
therefore x = cis +/- 2pi/5 cis +/- 4pi/5

is this correct and is there any other way of solving the question

you can also use this to find exact values for cos2pi/5 and cos 4pi/5
