Hey, ok... so what happens if you go to a VERY poorly ranked school with a VERY bad bottom end. But what happens if the top 2-3 externally recieve band 6's for a particular subject- how does moderation affect those individuals? Would rank 2 and 3 most likely INTERNALLY get a band 6?

You don't get scaled down as a group if you have a low average or anything like that. The top students aren't really affected by extremely poor students.

The higher your rank is the less you are affected by your chort.

If top 3 were all to recieve a band 6 externally, then they would also recieve a band 6 internally.
