Hi guys,
I'm a student of 2011 and just got an ATAR about 8 marks above what I needed to get into B.Environment Science. Not that I'm currently thinking about going to get a PhD or anything, but out of curiosity and probably taking in account future possibilities, I have some questions in mind about getting postgrads.
Say after I have completed the bachelor degree with honours, and I wanted to continue studying a Masters by Research degree, do I only have choices of Masters degrees related to my bachelors course, or am I able to choose any Masters course as long as it is science? Similarly, say I am very smart and finished the Masters too, are there any restrictions on what PhD courses I'm allowed in? Or is it that as long as I have the degrees I can choose any courses regardless of what my bachelors and masters were?
