there has also been much speculation of a powerbook based on intel chips.

here will not be a powerbook g 5 for a long time. Mainly cooling problems. Think of how hot it would get! Thick of how hot an ordinayr g5 imac gets and how much power it uses.

Unless Apple does something masterful I dont think a G5 will make its way into a powerbook anytime soon.

However Steve Jobs could come out and shock everyone on monday and annouce one.

I think it is more likely that the powerbook will get a duel core g4 or something of that matter...or not get upgraded at all at WWDC.
