gday all, ive got a task on tuesday for powerplay - antony and cleopatra

ive found heaps of questions (on JC but its easy 2 change em) for essay style but the word from the teacher is to "practice other style tasks *wink wink* so if anyone has any tasks theyve done such as:

*speeches
*feature articles
*reflections

anything else, i dont need ur actual task (although that would be kool) but just the question

its pretty easy to mould your essay into another form.

here are some suggestions.

take an interesting/influential character persona eg cleopatra or enobarbarus (sorry for the spelling, its been a year) and look for some quotes from them that say something about powerplay. shift the essay that you have prepared into the character persona. this solves journal entry, creative piece etc.

for feature article, its pretty much an essay, with a laid back/witty/characteristic tone. Pretend you are the upmost know-it-all and be creative. Crack witty jokes, although not entirely necessary. Just have a sit down and think about what you want to say, remember the purpose of a feature article and essay are different. essays are organised ideas aimed to inform or put forward an argument. a feature article is to do the same, but also to entertain.

a speech can pretty be much an essay. just throw in some speech traits, they're silly but they work! throw in a "goodmorning ladies and gentlemen" or [silence] or [applause].

a radio interview is like a script. talk casually but intellectually and have much interaction. an argument between people is a good idea, just don't make it sway off topic.

next.....with a+c, ive got a big argument in the juxtaposition between the lust in egypt and the honour in rome, but i cnat find the scenes to display this???

anyone got any particluar scenes?

with the egypt one, i know the ideal scene is where cleopatra is carried in on the boat with gold etc...cant find it and its killing me, anyone gimma a quick tip as 2 where 2 look? and yeah, any scenes which display the honour present in rome society
