motor effect prac?

Hii!!

Im going to have a prac assessment soon for this module and i have a strong feeling its the motor effect, using a electronic balance to measure the increase/decrease in mass of the system and calculate the magnetic field strength.

Does anyone have any tips on how to approach this if it turns out to be my assessment? like what would they expect me to do? graph anything? calculate anything other than the magnetic field strength? reliability?

i really dont know how to anything but set it up and calculate B.

help??

Re: motor effect prac?

The prac test is made to test your SKILLS, and it can be on anything, for example the one that is coming for our prac test is to do with Hookes Law which has nothing to do with the 3 modules we have done so far.

What u expect in ur prac test would be a graph(line of best fit), probably questions on dependant and independant variable etc and possible ways of improving, also a possibility that u have to explain what your graph has shown such as whether it is linear, thus you can conclude saying that they are proportional to eachother etc etc.....

hope this helps.....
