I have two prac tests coming up (due to doing two sciences) and I would love any advice. I hate prac tests because I can't study for them :cold:

For chem and bio, will the experiments be similar to one we have already done in class? If you do the experiment and get "wrong" results (like if you got results that the object travelled faster through cold water) but you explain that in your conclusion is that okay?

What kind of prac tests did you guys have and were they directly related to the topic you were doing at the time? I'm doing Water in Chem atm, and like Life on Earth (evolution/fossils) in Bio. Were the instructions easy to follow and set up?

Any pointers (even basic) are appreciated!

^Okay, if I end up screwing it up, I will have to lie using my scientific knowledge. Oh joys, I hope it's an easy prac. Bio pracs always seem easier than chem pracs for some reason?

so let me get this straight. You hate prac tests because you can't study for them...despite every prac being a dot point? Or do you hate pracs because you just can't rote learn everything and might actually have to use your /brain power/

^Are the prac tests a dotpoint prac?

I don't necessarily hate everything I can't rote learn for. I don't mind making up essays, or doing history source tests and when I did French, having unknown Q conversations or stuff like that...so there's no need to insinuate I'm simply a rote learner. I get nervous doing practical things though :S But I suppose it will be pretty clearly expressed what I need to do.
