hey, u guys have any clue what topic ur prac test is gonna be based on this yr?? i have a feeling my one will be motors/generators... some school i know did circular motion last yr...

I just did a prac assessment yesterday, motors and generators, to do with back emf. Everything was sweet except I forgot to mention the increasing temp of the resistor increasing resistance in the circuit in my sources of error.

My half-yearly prac test was on space (acceleration due to gravity) and there was an analysis component for motors and generators where you had to use the info provided to find a few things. celminating in the strength of the magnetic field. I found that it was 2 teslas and freaked out because that's a *really* powerful field and the expriment was supposed to be done with a small bar magnet at school . I redid the calculations three times, turned out I was right and the numbers had been cooked to make the calculations easy .
