so would that be the terminology for each topic, i also heard that for metals you don't really need the historical aspect, hmm and when you said basic knowledge how deep should i revise year 11 like write up notes for every topic, do questions and tests? or would just simply reading over my book a couple of times be suffeicient?
Well, honestly, I didn't revise
anything after year 11 finished.
I have to admit I studied extremely hard during the second half of year 11 and I made sure I understood every chemistry concept we were taught. If you can understand everything so that you are able to solve problems using
skills rather than what you've memorised in your head like a textbook then you'll be fine whether or not you study before year 12 begins.
I suppose it's like riding a bike. Once you grasp the concepts, you won't forget it anytime soon. Occasional revision on intermolecular forces is quite useful, and know your
verbs.
Oh, and you don't need to know the history of metals.
