What's everyone doing for their major investigation topic in year 11 Ancient?

I was going to ask this as well. A lot of people in my class are doing the ones like Cleopatra, Sparta, Persian society and Ancient China. I was thinking of doing an investigation on the warriors of ancient times e.g. Spartans, Centurions, Celts and end up comparing them in my essay. But not 100% sure yet.

Hello, slabfinder - be careful with some of those topics that they don't clash with the HSC - Cleopatra, Sparta and Spartan warriors will clash. Warriors of ancient times sounds cool. Some other suggestions: accuracy of modern feature films re the ancient world, review of Internet sites, other Yr 11 case studies that you haven't done in class, Archaeological sites as crime scenes, ancient religions, destruction of archaeological sites - eg. by Daesh, Taliban, etc.
