Prelim: English Monologue (1 Viewer)

I have been tasked to write a 7-8 minute monologue from the point of view of the persona in Rhapsody on a Windy Night. Which "illuminates us about your own perspectives of and experiences about the individual and society".

I require some guidance on my current ideas.

Obviously, due to the nature of the poem, I would focus on the conflict between society urging individuals to conform into routine, and the individual trying to escape this. Perhaps I could incorporate how even when the individual conforms to society's norms, they are disillusioned with themselves, and end up becoming alienated anyway, as well as falling into a life of mediocrity and routine.

The task also asks to make some reference to another T.S.E poem, which I have chosen to be Prufrock. I am considering making allusions to Prufrocks analysis of society, with the pretentious, yet shallow norms, such as the act of tea drinking.

Could anyone suggest anything else which might contribute?

Thanks for the help.

EDIT: An additional idea I had was to examine the implications of this "routine" etc. by implying that the Persona in Rhapsody could potentially be a devolvment of prufrock, but I am not too sure about this
