Just you wait til the HSC ;)

And my school, doesn't believe in the "no assessment period" before exams, so you go straight from doing assessments in at least 3 of your subjects then straight into exams, which our school likes to get done in the shortest amount of time as possible - they squashed mine into 4 days.

Don't mean to scare you or anything though! :)

Exams are like going underwater for 2 hours without breathing, and when you arise, you feel nauseous and sick.

In English I was drowning in my illegible handwriting and illogical thoughts.

Nothing beats exams. Nothing beats the jubliation of a FREE day, filled with more studying.

Yeah I hate exams as well, but they have to be done.
I have my exams next week and am not looking forward to them. Fortunately though, they last for two weeks and holidays are right after..so can relax, go out with friends, catch up on some reading before Year 12 starts.

Good Luck in all your exams people! :)

don't out do yourself in Prelim dudes... rememeber you still have to last just one more year..

i've realised the hsc is like preparation for university..
but instead of having one whole year to do a whole subject.. you have one semester consisting of 15 weeks ~fun cramming! -_-

BUT that doesn't mean prelim or the hsc means nothing... you still have to get into your desired course.. after you get into it... it's just surviving the workload of uni!

My teacher said that our school apparently has some rule where there can't be assessments due at a certain time that's too close to exam time. I guess they stuffed that rule up... Ive got 3 assessments due this week and my exams start on Monday.

Yes there's a week, it's actually meant to be 2 weeks prior to our exams when we're not meant to have assessments. But somehow my school ran out of time and everytime we had exams, we had assessments due the week before and the week after (we still havne't finished some courses yet).

My school also doesn't believe in 2 weeks notice for assessments, I had 4 days notice for a bio one. BUT OH WELL. NO MORE HSC ASSESSMENTS EVARRRRRRR. Except for the whole HSC exam shebang, but you know, whatever. :)

Hope you all did well in your prelims (and if you didn't, don't kick yourself over it, it's the HSC, not prelims that count!)
