hey wondering if someone could please help me.

i obtained a movie through legal channels, anyway it came in one folder with a bin and a cue file. It works i played it through my computer (using DAEMON), i just want to burn it onto a dvd and watch it through my dvd player.

I went to nero and did the following steps
1. go to recorder
2. go to burn image then select image
3. after that i selected it and burnt it onto a dvd (i also tried a cd aswell)

For some reason the dvd/cd is always blank. Why is this? Could someone please help me put it onto a disk.

You have to select the .cue file to burn not the .bin file. You didn't say which you were burning so I'm only guessing this is your problem.

Try loading the image through DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink and burning through one of those... It could just be that Nero doesn't like that particular disc.

i tried doing it through dvd decrypter. It sort of worked.
I burnt it successfully onto a cd, however its 798,121kb and doesnt all fit it skips the start and end of the movie.
i tried it on a dvd (through dvd decrypter) and the following message comes up.

Your image doesnt appear to be of the correct format for burning onto a dvd.

Even if i skip this it does the same as nero, just appears to be writing but in the end there is nothing on the disk

thanks for all your help so far

sorry not quite sure what you mean.
but when i mount the image through Daemon tools i can play it in windows media player - it brings up an additonal F drive with 'Unknown video cd' in it.

it also brings up an additional drive under my computer when i mount the image in the drive 4 folders come up under it

EXT
MPEGAV
SEGMENT
VCD

Sorry hope that helps. Im not quite sure what you meant. Im sort of new to this.

Thats because that iso is a vcd, thus the VCD folder.

You can burn it on a normal CD.

yeah put it onto a cd, but the files 798. It skipped a huge amount of the movie.
Is it possible to split the file over two cds or something?

Just overburn it if you can, otherwise its too much effort to do splitting.

maybe try mounting it with daemon tools, then using nero to do a cd copy and using the mounted drive as the source

Actually, go into the MPEGAV folder, and tell us if theres a .dat file in there.

If not, then you may have a 'protected' iso.
