maybe you aren't selecting everything before you press the make 2 columns button

you could also try copying and pasting to order it correctly after you make the columns

try table>insert>tables. chose 2 columns and say 10 rows (you can add/delete them later as you wish)

umm...once you have 2 columns, use the right side for one and the left for another?

Do what reDruM said.

Make a table with 2 column and 1 row (2 rows with titles), but make sure to turn off border lines so it "looks" like columns.
