i do ee2 as well, and im unsure whether both journals are supposed to b the same

like, for eg, is the hist ext log supposed to just focus on your progress
or should you paste in the notes you've collected and all your info..

I don't know if this is correct or not, but I think different schools have different purposes for the log. For my school, it was simply there for the teacher to see how are we progressing.

yeah for hist it realy jus what your teacher wants
but for my hist ext log i jus write down when i've read what. dont actualy have my notes in it
my eng log on the other hand has notes, drafts, practice writing, everything basicly
have abotu 4 pages of hist ext log and about 40 of ee2

i also did ext 2 eng and ext history

with my ext history log i did it similar to my ext eng one - i pasted in all my annotated and edited drafts and all my research - it just shows your teacher how much work u have put in and it also forms part of the marking criteria.

my teacher requested that we did that kind of stuff in our journal - as well as including ideas etc.

its a good idea to document everything for ur ext history - just to be safe and it also means you dont lose anything - and when it coems to your bibliography - you have all the information at hand.

in the long run its probably easier on you to put everything in it

Process log is a requirement according to the syllabus and has to be marked by the teacher now and again.
From what I've gathered, all you really need to do is write in when you've worked on your proposal, any bumps you've encountered, sources, which part you worked on...etc, etc.
It's so the teacher know's you're working on it and aren't falling behind, I guess it's also so they can check the authenticity of your work. Obviously if you're copying it off somebody you're not going to run to your process log and write the ideas down as your own...you're gunna put them in on the sly.

Treat it like your ee2 log and you cant go wrong

Plus if your journals all nice and up to date its real easy to find your notes when you need to come to writing it

Ill ?(after cleaning my room) post up some scans from my journal so you can see how i did mine..i had four boioks in the end as a hiistory journal so i wont post everythin! But hopefully itll give you an idea
