I'm wondering if there are any commerce people out there who would recommend the course to one who isn't sure they should do it...hypothetically.

I'd recommend it only if you have a true interest in business, economics and mathematics (for first year anyway)

Most people would find accounting and quantitative methods boring, so go look at some textbooks and see if you can see yourself studying that for 3 years

im doing business @ uts and was in ur position this time last year and ive really enjoyed it and its made me really wana get into business, particulary accounting and finance. i didnt do business studies or eco in 11 or 12 but am loving it. but as has been said, maybe hav a look at some text books and decide if u'll enjoy it or not

Explains why so many people doing Commerce at UNSW are like "Accounting is so boring!" or "QMA is so hard!"

If you were up for it, you could always combine your commerce with some arts or something...

I could not have survived this year without some arts subjects - pure commerce would have driven me CRAZY with boredom.
