Is the purpose of related material to show techniques yet again which portray change or is it to support the themes on the prescribed text and justify the conclusion you are making about change?

seriously though, it's so you can re-state/reinforce the points you make from your set text, the themes, the various techniques employed..

but....from the context of being educated...its to make u go out and research, and to learn to appreciate changes through different contexts and forms...outside the ones from ur prescribed
