Aight so it makes sense how his introduction of quantisation into the atomic model accounted for the line spectra since moving between quantum states required a specific amount of energy and when moving up or down it released or absorbed that amount of energy as a particular wavelength. But how did he account for the stability of the atom. Wut I'm finding is textbooks just saying his model was stable by definition, tho yh y is it this. Cuz doesn't the same issue with Rutherford's model remain here, the electrons are still gonna move in circles and hence changing direction and hence velocity and hence accelerating. Thus accelerating charges wud still emit EMR.
Like everywhere I'm reading it says the Bohr model was stable by definition but doesn't explain how exactly his changes such as quantisation made it stable

In fact he didn't --> he just postulated that the orbits were stable due to quantised angular momentum but did not explain it. It was De broglie who stated that they electrons orbit and exist as standing waves, using which he derived the angular momentum formula enforced by Bohr. This is what validated how and why the electron orbits were stable. Of course, Schrodinger went into more detail regarding the various quantum states....
