Hey sorry I cant add the q its kindve of to do with a diagram. Can someone with the book please help me? Q2.9.7 pg 59 parts a,b, and g ! I can get the rest of them by applying Lenz's law but i cant figure it out for the ones above. I tried using lenz's law with the right hand rule but its not working. For example the solenid in a should have a north pole on the right for the consevation of momentum to be followed. If u then use the R.H grip rule u get Y to X. But the answer is the other way around ??? I am worried that i got the other anwers right by luck. PLEASE HELP!!!

I got the same answers as the book.
What example were you talking about when you said Y to X?
