Ive been given a research project to do over the holidays and i'm having trouble with this question.

Q5 - Complete and balance the following equation

60Ni + 1p' -> 57Co ->

the last -> is drawn on in pen..

Any help would be greatly appreciated

woa??? the first part of equation doesn't really balance:
60 * 1 * 61
Ni + p =>Cu
28 * 1 * 29

if it undergoes alpha decay:
61 *** 4 * 57
Cu => He + Co
29 *** 2 ** 27
hence, i fink the second arrow should be a '+'

Took me about 10 minutes to realise what that 1P' was, then another 5 minute to find that question is bs
