Lets just say i fail or get pc for MATH130 this semester..

and i plan to do econ111 nxt semesteer which requires a pre-req of math123-136 (i did general in yr12), will i still be able to get in regardless of my fail/pc , since i did the course ? cause the requirements didnt say a pass was needed blah blah

i dont wanna do math130 again..:/

if u pc a subject u cant use it for meeting prerequisites :(

u can try get a waiver, but youd need a good reason for it

thats when you are "waved off" doing the subject.

they'll say that you dun need that as a prerequisite for something else. not sure how it would work for you.

you can get a waiver if you can show you know the material from elsewhere, either from previous study or real world experience. or perhaps sexual favours. in my experience, most prerequisites have been reasonable, and if you hadnt done the prereq subjects youd have a hard time in the course. thats more for comp subjects tho.

in the end you still need to get a certain amount of credit points to get your degree, and waived subjects dont give you any credit points.

ye..i wouldnt put too much hope on waivers but..

u got plenty of time to study for maths...maths is sumfin u can cram in short time.
dun panick too much. 3 days ago i thought im gonna get 1 digit % in stat272...and now i fink i can get a 2 digit %. At this rate i might get the credit i need...
