Right, well, I'm doing Telling The Truth: Birthday Letters and I've got to do an analytical essay on:
"A story told over and over loses it's fit with "the truth" and becomes a story about a story"
I have to use two of the six poems we're studying and two related texts.
Now with the related texts, could they be anything, or should I just stick with shit from Hughes/Plath ..
It's just I remember a book of like..horror stories and they were like that little 5min ABC show "Freaky Stories" where it's like "This is a true story, it happened to a friend of a friend of mine.." and yeh I thought using something like that as an example would be somewhat fitting to the essay but yeh..suggestions?
