The module that is being studied is popular culture our focus is television. My task is to choose a television character/show/ or advertisement which conveys certain stereotypes or stereotype. I have decided to choose the dove individuals commercial with Em Ocean

3- Can you identify any stereotypes in the commercial? If so what are they?
4- Why do you think that a female is used in the commercial to advertise chocolate not a male?
5- Is it an effective commercial? Why/why not?
6- Do you think her physical aspects (such as clothing) play a role in the commercial?
