Questions about TAFE (1 Viewer)

Hi, i was interested in doing a course for semester 2; but i sent the application forms by mail to the college that has my course. Is this the best way to give an application form. Do i recieve a letter to notify me that they have recieved application forms. Finally, when is the closing date for applications for semester 2; do we recieve a letter notifying if we have made it into course, what does the letter contain?

Tafe has its ups and downs depending on the course and campus, the better campuses IMO are Wollongong, Ultimo, North Sydney and Granville.

im gonna do the nursing access course at ultimo...

Ring the campus and ask to speak to the Head Teacher or course co-ordinator if you don't think you can make the closing date. If they have spots left they might give you more time.

TAFE isn't suitable for everyone and everyone has different expectations of a course and campus just like University study. It's like all the kids at High School who would say a certain class or teacher is crap, I am sure you will still find some students who did well in those classes and actually enjoyed it. You might fall into either group but there's only one way to find out.
