What did the crab do?
Hey everyone.
After several years of being too poor to get a decent computer (actually, just have other priorities) for computer gaming, I'm still too poor to have a decent computer (acutally, just new priorities! ) for computer gaming, but uni holidays are coming up and I'll need something to kill the time everynow and then, so before I go out and buy my $15 copy of Half Life, I've got a few questions. (For the record, I've got a laptop, bought mainly for uni work -- Pentium M 1.4ghz, 512mb ram (3200 DDR), onboard video (64mb))
1) Does anyone actually play CS (Yes, Counter-Strike) anymore? Looking around, it seems to be one of the few fps that'll run on my system.. (Q1a: Am I wrong -- will CS: Source, or other games, run/not run on my system? -- see specs above )
2) If so, does CS/HL run on widescreen screens -- ie laptop screens -- at an appropriate resolution (ie 1280x768 or some other 16:9 ratio)? Some older games seem to only run at the 4:3 ratio's, which means on a widescreen they get stretched out and look gross.
