hey sorry about this question...its holidays and i have forgotten how 2 do it.....and i duno where to start looking in my book.......................

express (3-4i)^7 in x+iy form

You could expand it using the binomial theorem or change 3-4i into Rcis@ form and then change it back into x+iy form after expanding.

Exactly what Riviet said change the cartesian equation into polar form
(3-4i)7={5cis(tan-1[4/3])}7

Then change it back to the cartesian form by expanding the cos and sin
