Hey guys I just wondered what the opening lines in 'Looking for Richard' meant? They are given down below:
"
Our revels now are ended.







These our actors, as I foretold you...







... were all spirits

and are melted into air...







... into thin air.







And, like the baseless fabric

of this visión...







... the cloud-capp 'd towers...







... the gorgeous palaces...







... the solemn temples...







... the great globe itself...







... ye all which it inherit...
... shall dissolve
... and, like this insubstantial pageant

faded...
... leave not a wisp behind
We are such stuff

as dreams are made
... and our little life

is rounded with a sleep.

I believe that’s intertexuality from Shakespeare’s last play, The Tempest.
You can consider the actual meaning of the words, but also how Pacino is sort of paying tribute to Shakespeare by trying to revive his legacy in contemporary societies
