I need help. My case is R vs O'grady... here's the task:

Oral presentation

The task must raise issues concerning the efficiency, effectiveness or fairnes of the legal system.

The problem is, i am unable to identify any issues that have been raised in this case.

Here's some links to the case. Please don't be deterred because of the length.

http://www.austlii.edu.au/cgi-bin/sinodisp/au/cases/nsw/supreme_ct/2000/1255.html?query=matthew%20o'grady

The sentence was: 15 years with 10 years non parole

O'grady was 16 and nine months when he commited the murder of a stranger that was aged 15.

Ogrady suffers from ADHD and usees drugs regularly, takes alcohol and watches violent movies.

Pleas not guilty with defence: automation

The mother of the deceased atually said "I am sure Spike will be happy about this. The jury was so good. They sorted the fact from the fiction ... we're relieved it is over,"

and ``Justice has been done in the court system,'

Does that mean fairness in the legal system is ruled out?? Now what can i say?
