If you come 1st in everyone of your subjects, does that mean ur basically assured of getting in the 90s.......because ive read around that if you come 1st in a subject, you automatically get the highest hsc mark achieved in your year for that subject.........ok im confused now

No.

Your moderated assessment mark will be set equal to the highest exam mark.

Your exam mark will always be your exam mark.

(And your HSC mark is the average of the two. See this flowchart.)

huh? so what if ur ranked like 12.. and you got 93 in the HSC, and the all the ranked 1-11 got below 93 in the HSC..

What happens then, do the 1-11 get a HSC mark below me, but an internal assessment higher than me????

also.. do I still get the 93 as MY mark?

Your exam mark is your exam mark.

So in that case, yes your exam mark would be higher than theirs but their moderated assesment mark would be higher than yours.

Isn't half of the exam mark comprised of the mark you achieve in the exam and the other half of it comprised of say.. the 10th highest exam mark if you ranked 10th at school
