my school got 70s last year for ranking wise, but last year was exceptional, usually we're out of top 200... anyway moving along my school did CSSA trials

Standard english: trial mark 77/100 rank 3/77
overall rank 1/77

Extension 1 Maths: trial mark 60/100 rank 5/20
overall rank 5/20

Extention 2 Maths: trial mark 38/100 rank 6/7
overall rank 5/7

Physics: trial mark 75/100 rank 3/20
overall rank 3/20

Chemistry: trial mark 72/100 rank 6/18
overall rank 5/18

my dream aim would be 99.2 to get into comm/law at unsw, but thats not going to happen. my realistic aim is probably about 96 to get into commerce at unsw and make the cut-offs for the co-op program (95.7) if i miraculously get a interview and somehow pass it. anyway give me some feedback please

p.s i bombed out hardcore in 3u and 4u maths in the trials, i was ranked 3rd in both beforehand

ranks are exceptionally excellent, and i wouldnt be too bothered by your school rank
onyl you have in control over what you get
but judging from your marks and ranks, if you continue at this pace and with some good solid study, you're going to crack over 90 easy

haha what about 95+, getting 90 wont do any good if i dont get into commerce anyhow would anyone know rough figures for raw marks to achieve band 5/band 6(E3/4 for ext maths) hsc marks? thanks for the reply
