anyone care to guess their raw marks for the exam?
also does anyone have any idea in previous years wat raw mark will get a band 6?

im guessin i got 85-90% raw mark... i hope its a band 6

My teacher said it was a pretty dodgy exam. But since it didn't really test the course work he couldn't tell us how he thinks we went. He's of the opinion that you need high marks to get a band 6, but he's also said that sometimes the markers will give just about anything marks so that people will get into the higher bands.

I'd think that 90% would definitely get you a band 6. Since it's an 'easy' subject I don't know if it would be much lower than that. But someone can correct me if they'd like.

yeah im hoping for a band 6, whatever that is raw mark... i think i did fairly well and my teacher said it was a reasonable exam, like a few dodgy questions but that happens with every exam, i think cos its so "english" based, your mark can depend on what mood the marker is in as well, then again double marked, oh well... just gotta wait and see
