okay, let's assume a subject Ext 2 English

If in my school, my ranking is 3 out of 7 (as of after report due)

is it still possible (1) to score top mark in the HSC marking, (2) to score a top mark in the averaged results, and (3) become top in that subject at school?

(1) - HSC Marking? you mean the exam? If so yes you still can attain the top HSC exam mark if you perform well. But you won't receive the highest exam mark as your moderated.

(2) - You mean the highest HSC mark? That you mean you need to do particularly well in the exam and have the highest exam mark, as well as the 1st ranked person not doing very well. Quite unlikely

(3) - Sounds the same as (2) ? You will be top if the requirements stated in (2) is achieved. If you mean top in the assessment marks, no you cannot since everything has been finalised.
