Hi,

Can anyone tell me the formula for finding gene recombination rates (as a percentage)? I've lost some of my notes and can't find it anywhere.

there isn't really a formula for finding recombination rates....u have to use a test cross because for each species the recombination rate is going to be different. You need to do a test cross with linked genes n then the rate of recombinant DNA gives you the distance of the two genes on the chromosome
