what is it? im completely lost and i dont think i can remember doing this at all
can someone pllllleeease give me like a summary or a short lesson or something?? will this be in the hsc? i had no idea we even learnt it in 3u :eek: .

unless its an alternate name for something else, its not in the 3 unit course... ive NEVER heard of it, so dont be too worried about it

looking at dictionary,
it means motion in a straight line
motion in 2 dimention...
and in the 3U context it assumes there is no air resistance and friction :p
in 4U it can have resistance

Don't worry, it's like projectile/simple harmonic motion, but easier.

Yeah I'd say its far easier than SHM and projectiles, I've never seen recilinear motion in a q7 as far as I can remember

lol..

It's just another name for motion in a straight line, where rectilinear means bounded by straight lines. "They" are just out to confuse us. Just like when i first heard the term "arcsine"..
