redoing ass tasks (1 Viewer)

well how fuked is my school......after the first assessment task was done last year in 3unit maths, people complained that the 'assessment guidelines' werent followed, and as a result, winged to bos and now it has been redone, ud think the school would learn wouldnt u.....

but no, just 3 weeks ago, an ancient history task was complained about, and guess wat? bos said it needed 2 be redone, but would the school stop at 2 mistakes.....

NO! our english speeches on journeys, marked like shit, so guess wat, the entire year must redo our speeches (i think mine is thrown in the boot of my car somewhere) and be remarked, three strikes and still they havent learnt, will this be the end? has anyone else had 2 redo anythin or is it just my fuked up school...... (which i will add, is a 'selective' school)

for us, for english, our jouneys speeches were done last year, however, the teacher had lost our assessment marks. we are the only advanced class, and every other englsih class got theirs back. she expects us to redo it again?!

it was too mcuh stress just trying to do the speech. it was so nerve racking. like they had our names cut out, and names were drawn out for the people who would have do their speech. like we would be in the hall waiting for our name to be caleld out. when the person came in with the paper, we'd all stare, all 140 of us.

an assessment notice i know is 2 weeks notice, but how bout the assessment sheet, outlining weighting and coordinated marks, when is that meant ot be given out? and what exactly must be written on that assessment sheet?

yeah, c the shit thing is that u can actually complain about absolutely anythin, hav a look at ur 'assessment guidelines' i hav 1/2 yearlies startin on monday....i hav received official notification for about 3 of em, and i hav signed for none of em, therefore, i havent got any of em, which if i winged to bos would mean they are all useless and dont count at all...

dawso, what school would this be?
The 2nd English standard assessment task needs to be redone at our school because apparently one of the teachers told his class the question they were going to be getting for their "unseen" assessment. Now everyone seems to be complaining, and quite a few are saying they won't do the assessment again, instead receive a zero.
I'm glad I do Advanced, although we seemed to get screwed over too - with so many of our assessments leaning towards that of drama.

nah m8, not normanhurst, and fyi, an assessmnet notification has 2 hav the 'nature, components, when and where, the weighting and any other administartive details including teachers absence and late submission..." this must be done 2 weeks b4 the ass task, and must be signed for otherwise u can claim u didnt get it, so the moral is, if u dindt get this, go bitch to bos, and despite the fact that the skool will h8 u, u will get 2 redo it if u want 2....

well that means i can redo all of my assessment tasks but what i'm scathing about is my last assessment task for english, the teacher gave us the assessment sheet 3 days before we were meant to do it. it also did'nt have the weighting on it, nor i think the date, nor the marking guidelines.

are we meant to get the marking rubric??

Ah, that would mean I could redo my IPT assessment saying I didn't get a notification sheet. Our first assessment I said to him that I would like to put the assessment delayed a few days, as he gave our assessment notification with 13 days notice rather than the 14 required. He was like, but YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THAT. And I was like, yes I do, I need time to prepare (not that I did anyway). Mo well, didn't get it put back because he would have hated me more than usual
