Hey, so I've got exams coming up and I just wanted to ask a couple of questions about essays that include more than one text:

1. Is there a big difference between writing an AOS essay with one related text and the Module A comparative essay? Does the AOS essay involve 'less of a comparison' between the texts and simply just more evidence as to your stance on the question?

2. In structuring these essays, is it better to write a paragraph that discusses both texts or two paragraphs that discuss each text but still making connections between each (for both AOS and Module A)?

That's pretty much spot on :)

I'd say for AOS, two paragraphs that aren't integrated per se but do refer to the other text, e.g. in the concluding sentences, just to show the marker that you can add one and one

For Mod A, I reckon integrate throughout, because it is a comparative study after all :)
Thanks for the reply!
