We are supposed 2 find related texts 4 a&c...only im not sure what texts have political power represntations...and arent ridiculously boring - PLZ HELP!!

I used The Old Man and the Sea by Hemmingway and My Last Duchess by Browning which fit prefectly with Antony and Cleopatra, if i do say so myself. :)

I used Angela Carter "Company of Wolves" which is a short, and great rendition of Little Red Riding Hood. It's feminist and what not, so it's an interesting sort of powerplay here.

I also used Gladiator. Which is incredibly common. It's great when it's to do with people (or the crowd) holding power. If you wanna use Gladiator, I suggest you use a not-so-common text as well.

agreed on Last Duchess, and a few other poems by Browning...and don't fret, even though its on the syllabus for ee1 you can still use it
