Hey
I was just wondering how appropriate is the text "Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini as a related text for a Physical journeys assessment task.

My thoughts on the book:
It is good because it shows the main character on an emotional journey after witnessing the rape of his best friend. It also goes through a physical journey as he trys to move away from this memory of his, and as he tries to make it better. It is also good in a way when he is on the search to find the son of his best friend.

Thanks for any help
Mitchell

Ok, lets try a different question: what techniques are used in books that have no graphics.

Consider the tone, language features, stucture of the plot (ie linear or non-linear), first/second/third person narrative, themes as well as other devices and investigate what the effect these techniques have on the reader.
