Ok so, a few weeks back I chose to do The Terminal for the HSC.
I'm planning one aspect to be "Belonging can be found in unexpected places."
If you've seen The Terminal, you'll know the Viktor doesn't belong in America, by the time he leaves the airport he finds he is capable of belonging in America. But that isn't his aim, which is concealed from the viewer until around 3/4 of the way through the movie. All he wants is a signature from Benny Golson. Once he has that, hes headed back home.
So, is it right to say that Viktor unexpectedly found belonging in America (I can back that up), even though he never sought to belong in America?
