Hey guys
I've got a speech to do in relation to picking two poems from our prescribed text (at the round earths imagined corners - theyre a bunch of poems pretty much)
I was thinking maybe Michael Gow's Away might be a good related text to do in relation to the prescribed text but im not sure if its a good idea, seeing as it was a prescribed text for a topic i did in year 11. Or ive heard Edward Scissorhands is reasonable too.
The two poems ive been looking at in particular are 'The One Who Goes Away' by Bhatt and 'The French Prisoner' by Pilinszky .
Anyone at all who has a suggestion if its a good idea to use Gow's Away or have any other related texts would be awesome if you could reply
