SH didnt reply
anyways ive got my trial in less than an hour now
I have to do an ext resp on jewish and christian marriage as well
I will be focusing on symbols
such as the giving away of the bride:
father of the bride in christian variants
and mother and mother and law in jewish variants
ring:
worn on the left hand on the third finger. Can be decorated for christian marriage and are exchanged between groom and bride
However, in jewish marriage only the Kallah gets a ring.
Wine: Symbolises unity and joy in jewish traditions
For chistianity it it symbolises joy and unity as well but also highlights wine used in the Christian scriptures- The wedding oc Cana
Another one you might like to focus on is the royal status of the couple
in jewish variants, the kallah is given a chair in her room called "Kallah's throne".
Similarly, in orthodox christian variants, the bride and groom wear wreaths or crowns on their heads to signify their royal status and also to depict that they are part of the kingdom of God
Hope that helped Jeremy
